The venue for all events organized by Warthog Promotions is Lowdham Village Hall. All concerts are held on a Friday or Saturday evening, and the usual start time is 8.00 pm. Currently we aim to hold monthly concerts in the period from September to March plus one or two more linked to the Lowdham Book Festival in June. We set up the Hall in cabaret style and the Hall's capacity in this format is 180-200 people. We do not run a licensed bar, the audience being invited to bring their own refreshments - alcoholic or otherwise. A seating plan is drawn up shortly before each concert to enable friends to sit together.
The concerts linked to the Book Festival in June will be held in the Festival Marquee, which can accommodate 300 – 350 people. For these concerts only, seating is in theatre rows and there are no reserved seats. A licensed bar will be in operation and the usual ‘bring your own’ will not apply.
